1831 pattern French Foot Artillery short sword. Marked “TALABOT Fs PARIS” on the ricasso with inspection stamp “R” in an oval and star. Sword features a brass hilt with stamped #1183 to guard, ribbed grip with and coiled quillon finials. Blade measures approx. 19-1/4″, overall length 25-1/4″. Includes black leather scabbard with brass throat and drag, numbered “523” at throat.
