Description
Flintlock musket marked “KINGS NORTON & Co WARRANTED” on the lockplate. Approx. .78 caliber. Barrel measures approx. 45″, overall length approx. 61.” Features brass trigger guard & buttplate. Lock shows engraved borders and decorative flourishes. Barrel displays two proof marks, crown GR down arrow and crown over X, along with a stamped “8” on the left side of the breech area. TAGS: BP, lock plate, flintlock musket, smoothbore firearm, antique gun, muzzleloader, black powder. This item can be shipped in-house. Multiple lot combined shipping may require 3rd Party shipping.
Condition
Action works. Stock shows long cracks and loss under the front of the barrel. Barrel has an overall brown patina with uniform oxidation. Bore has oxidation. Missing ramrod. See images.
