Hamilton Ventura Electric wristwatch. Originally introduced in 1957, the Ventura holds the distinction of being the worlds first battery-powered electric wristwatch and remains a celebrated symbol of mid-century modern design. Black dial is marked “Hamilton / Electric / Pat. Pending.” Gold-tone arrow markers and gold Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9. Gold-tone dauphine hour and minute hands. Gold seconds hand featuring a red arrow tip. Asymmetric 10K gold filled case measures approx. 31mm x 35.5mm. Case back marked Hamilton 10K Gold Filled. Black Hirsch lizard strap 9″ overall length.
