Large antique silver-plated warming dome server by Elkington & Co., Birmingham. Features an engraved heraldic lion crest, scroll-form handle, and a built-in hot water reservoir with a side screw plug designed to warm the fixed well-and-tree platter evenly. Measures approx. 20-3/4″ x 16″ x 13″ tall. TAGS: Victorian silverplate, English warming dome, Elkington serving dish, antique buffet server, British silverware, 19th century dining.
