Art Nouveau vase designed by Max Laeuger (1864-1952) for Tonwerke Kandern, featuring incised slip decoration of tall grass in flowing Jugendstil style over a rich reddish-brown glaze. The base bears Laeuger’s impressed monogram and “GES. GESCH.” mark. Measures approximately 8-1/2″ tall.
