Description
Two tall crystal goblets, circa 1860s, each with an intaglio monogram “FB” for Friedrich Bayer Sr., founder of the German pharmaceutical company. Each measures 9-1/8″ high. Provenance: Obtained from the grandson of artist Dietz Edzard, whose first wife was Emmy Bayer, the granddaughter of Friedrich Bayer Sr. The goblets are from the historic family’s dinner service. This item can be shipped in-house.
