Description
Antique Sharp’s four barrel pepperbox derringer pistol. Chambered in .22 rimfire with barrels measuring approx. 2-1/4″. Left side of frame marked “C. SHARPS PATENT 1859”. Right side marked “C. SHARPS & CO PHILADA. PA”. Serial #21339 stamped on butt. Brass frame with rotating firing pin design. These derringers were produced by Christian Sharps from about 1860 through 1872 in Philadelphia, making this example an authentic American Civil War and postwar era pocket pistol.
